    1.Soil Lab

    Crete is the largest and most fertile island of Greece, with a long-standing tradition in aromatic and medicinal plant cultivation. Our haircare collection is infused with three of the most powerful Cretan herbs. Marjoram, cultivated in the small town of Arkalochori for decades, along with two renowned endemic plants of Greece, native to Crete’s highest peaks; Dittany, prevailing in Cretan abundant nature, and Malotira, else known as mountain tea, naturally growing on Lefka Ori at 1,000m altitude. All sustainably cultivated.

    2.Extraction Lab

    Powerful Dittany, Marjoram and Malotira extracts derive from the fresh, blooming aerial parts of the plants, through a 100% zero-waste process, using exclusively natural solvents, to sustain their antioxidant properties. Solid residue is composted to end up back into the soil as organic fertilizer.

    3.Molecular Lab

    A unique hair-restoration complex combines three powerful organic plants from the island of Crete, helping protect the scalp and hair against environmental factors and hair-loss. Dittany, a source of lipids, flavonoids and terpenoids, has been highly valued for its medicinal properties since antiquity. Its antioxidant action is owed to the high concentration of phenolic substances. Equally powerful, Marjoram is fueled with vitamins, carotin and thymol, improving hair texture. Among the most popular plants in folk medicine, Malotira’ leaves and flowers contain terpenoids, flavonoids and sterols; all substances with a potent antioxidant profile. This complex is further boosted with vitamin B3 and provitamin B5 -part of the B-B complex- that are essential nutrients helping restore and maintain healthy-looking hair. Additionally, an innovative technology, specific to KORRES Shampoos, that is powered by the synergistic action of two 100% natural complex systems with moisturising and softening properties, focuses on the overall scalp and hair’ healthy appearance both short and long term

    4.Formulation Lab
    Hair reset with Cretan herbs. Our silicone-free hair collection -including shampoos, conditioners, masks and a styling gel- is based on advanced formulations with highly efficacious natural actives, delivering on all fronts: moisturizing, antioxidant protection, hair repair, elasticity, shine, manageability and detangling, protection from environmental damage and chemical processing. Nine out of ten women with dry or coloured hair enjoyed softer, shiny, healthy-looking hair in just 14 days*. Additional in vivo study** focusing on one of the most challenging scalp + hair types -oily scalp, damaged hair- showed 28% increased skin moisturization and 44% skin sebum decrease in four weeks.

    At KORRES we collect packaging waste and ensure it is transformed and reused. We wish to turn empties into beautiful recycled objects, offering them and us a second chance. Our Recycle Lab is fully operational in Greece, aspiring to expand across the globe.
