    1.Soil Lab

    Crete is the largest and most fertile island of Greece, with an established, century-old tradition in Olive tree cultivation. Our products infused with supreme Olive oil and Olive leaf extract are filled with local traditions, with the passion and know-how of local farmers on the island of Crete. We cooperate with the Organic Farmers Cooperative of Messara for the supply of Cretan extra virgin Olive oil of the predominant, supreme Koroneiki Olive variety. Founded back in the ‘90s by a small group of dedicated farmers, this is the first cooperative of its kind on the island that for decades has been trying to preserve this tradition, while promoting scientific research in relation to Olive tree organic cultivation methods. In another area of the island, in the small village of Zounaki, Athanasia Papadantonaki is a pioneer herself, being among the first to adopt sustainable, organic Olive tree cultivation technics on the island. She provides us with hand-picked organic Olive leaves -a bi-product of Olive tree cultivation that would else be discarded and that has never been utilized up to this day.

    2.Extraction Lab

    With valleys at the foothills of mountains and very close to the sea, Crete has the ideal combination of microclimate, moisture and temperature conditions for the production of the best extra virgin Olive oil in the world. In the island' groves these slow-growing, organic Olive trees are watered naturally and kept small in size to be better nourished by the sun. Our supreme Cretan Olive Oil is produced at the certified facilities of the Organic Farmers Cooperative of Messara, using the pure cold-pressing method. The mildest solvent-free oil production technique, ensuring a final product of superior purity, offering a precious quantity of this non-refined, supreme "green gold”, that preserves all its qualities and beneficial substances. Straight from the Zounaki village of Crete the Olive leaves are taken to our Extraction facility, after they have been dried naturally. We follow a 100% zero-waste extraction process, using exclusively natural solvents, while solid residue is composted to end up back into the soil as organic fertilizer.

    Both Olive oil and leaves -a Greek beauty secret since antiquity- feature antioxidant and softening substances. Nourishing Extra virgin Olive oil is a natural source of vitamins, minerals, amino-acids and antioxidants. It is literally a multi-tasker; it hydrates, nourishing skin deeply, while also locking in moisture, and improving elasticity to maintain youthful skin that is refreshed and softened.     Extra virgin Olive oil from world-renowned Cretan groves along with Cretan Olive leaf extract are the signature naturals of our Pure Greek Olive collection, including an extensive product line-up from skincare, showergels, body creams and shampoos to our best-selling 3in1 Nourishing Oil for face, body and hair. Skin feels deeply moisturized, soft, with increased elasticity and improved texture on first application, while hair looks healthy and feels silky shiny. Our Pure Greek Olive line is infused with fresh, gentle scents, reminiscent of Olive groves and picturesque Greek island yards.

    Olive green hues and an Olive tree illustration to remind us that the most powerful, yet pure, beauty secrets hide in nature. 90% of our packaging across all our product lines is recyclable. Paper packaging is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council). The ‘tree-tick’ symbol indicates that the paper has been sustainably sourced, ensuring forest growth, contributing to an overall ecosystem balance.

    At KORRES we collect packaging waste and ensure it is transformed and reused. We wish to turn empties into beautiful recycled objects, offering them and us a second chance. Our Recycle Lab is fully operational in Greece, aspiring to expand across the globe.
