    1.Soil Lab

    Wild Rose is our signature ingredient, long-used at the Korres Herbal Apothecary, the source of inspiration for our first ever cosmetic product. Our precious, pure Wild Rose grows in the Balkan Botanic Garden of Kroussia in northern Greece. The Garden hosts many rare and endemic plant species -it is literally a museum of plants. Dedicated to preserving and promoting our homeland’s biodiversity paradise, this is an initiative by the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization “DIMITRA”. The Garden's team was the first to sustainably cultivate Wild Rose, researching and adopting optimum cultivation methods to reach maximum yield' quality and quantity.

    2.Extraction Lab

    KORRES Wild Rose oil is an enriched natural, virgin oil deriving from the seeds and the pericarp, abundant in beneficial compounds like oleic, linoleic, linolenic fatty acids, sterols, tocopherols and carotenoids. 100kg of fruits yield just 1kg of our Wild Rose oil. Produced with the cold-pressing method, this is the purest and most natural oil, preserving all its supreme qualities. The mildest solvent-free oil production technique, ensuring a final product of superior purity, offering just a small quantity of this precious, non-refined oil. We follow a 100% zero-waste extraction process, while solid residue is composted to end up back into the soil as organic fertilizer.

    3.Molecular Lab

    Wild Rose oil, deriving from the fruit of the plant that contains 9 times the vitamin C content of an orange juice, is a source of powerful antioxidants, rich in Ω3, Ω6, Ω9 fatty acids and vitamin A. It has moisturizing and softening properties. It offers radiance, a unique glow. The Wild Rose collection is powered with vitamin SUPER C™; a high absorption stabilized vitamin C, increasing skin’s vitamin C absorption by 1000% for the most advanced brightening and first wrinkles improvement ever experienced. This specific form of vitamin C is a potent skin-lightening and anti-pigmentation factor, as it converts effectively into free vitamin C once absorbed by the skin.

    4.Formulation Lab

    Skin glow-up on first application , and a total skin-transforming effect in 7 days with reduced appearance of dark spots and increased radiance . Powerful formulas harnessing the power of SUPER C™ and KORRES Wild Rose oil. Targeted action on dark spots, pigmentation and uneven skin tone. Textures are soft and velvet applied smoothly on skin, leaving a unique silky sensation, while getting instantly absorbed. The collection is wrapped in a subtle, pure floral fresh -skin- and eco-friendly- scent to enhance the Wild Rose skincare experience.

    5.Design Lab

    White roses turned red, stained by Aphrodite’s blood when she gets injured for her love. A striking visual of Wild Rose depicted in a balance that reflects the brand’s world of contrasts, the beautiful simplicity of the alluring Greek natural beauty. 90% of our packaging across all our product lines is recyclable. Paper packaging is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council). The ‘tree-tick’ symbol indicates that the paper has been sustainably sourced, ensuring forest growth, contributing to an overall ecosystem balance.

    6.Extraction Lab

    At KORRES we collect packaging waste and ensure it is transformed and reused. We wish to turn empties into beautiful recycled objects, offering them and us a second chance. Our Recycle Lab is fully operational in Greece, aspiring to expand across the globe.
