    Black Pine is a perennial tree that has thrived in the Mediterranean for over 3,5 million years. Nature’s chameleon, it can withstand high mountain altitudes, conditions of both extreme cold and scorching heat, even highly polluted urban environments. Under the guidance of the Directorate of Forests of Grevena, we source by-products of timber production from Black Pine that gracefully rises on Pindus Mountains, that would else be discarded.

    2.Extraction Lab

    Through a 100% zero-waste process, we attain high quality extracts using exclusively natural solvents. Solid residue is composted to end up back into the soil as organic fertilizer. The Black Pine extract was used for the first time in a cosmetic formula by KORRES. We were the ones to discover and introduce this powerful Greek antiaging ingredient to the global cosmetic ingredient bible (WINCI).

    3.Molecular Lab

    We have been studying the powers of perennial trees for over a decade. The aim is to decode their powerful defence mechanisms and develop them into cosmetic ingredients in the pursuit of a robust, healthy-looking skin. In this quest, Black Pine is yet another KORRES discovery. Polyphenol-rich Black Pine extract improves the appearance of wrinkles and skin firmness.

    4.Formulation Lab

    Black Pine -the award-winning, best-selling firming and antiaging KORRES line- branches out on make-up. A Foundation and a Concealer developed to meet the needs of mature skin for flawless, naturally bright and youthful look, while also delivering firming, lifting and brightening effect. Τhis make-up line offers a smooth finish -crack lines-free for at least 8 hours - and exceptional long wear. Skin looks younger and absolutely radiant . Dark circles and imperfections are effectively covered, while appearance of wrinkles around the eyes is improved .

    How to Use

    Apply a touch of Black Pine Foundation on clean and well-hydrated skin. Use a brush, a make-up sponge or your fingers to dab the foundation starting at the center of the face and diffuse the product outward to the hair- line and neck.
